The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. At our Wednesday Emmaus Reunion, members share their daily walk in a non-judgmental yet accountable process with each other. The program's approach seriously considers the model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all." This is our invitation for you to join us Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30P in the Adult Lounge off of the Narthex.

For All Youth (7th-12th grade) We gather together for dinner, then Confirmation class and High school have separate activity time and homework time, finally closing together with worship. Rarely, though, do we focus in the same way on what Christ said after the Resurrection as he surprised, consoled, rebuked, and inspired his followers through seven powerful encounters – what the author, Shane Standford, calls the Seven Next Words of Christ.

Do you love to sing? Chancel Choir may be the perfect group for you. The choir is composed of 20 individuals, all with varying levels of talent. The expectations for performance in this group are very high, since Chancel Choir performs at the 10:30 am service 3-4 Sundays a month and at both services on certain holidays and special occasions. Last year, we performed the cantata "Praise the God of Resurrection," with the help of high school and college students from the area. This is the perfect opportunity for you to experience complex choral singing in a relaxed, supportive setting! Contact Annie Sloka, our music director for more information.

The Youth Council, working with the Koinonia Pastor (Rev. Dave Buerstetta) is responsible for coordinating activities for the youth (7th - 12th grade) outside of the traditional worship and Sunday School experience. This includes many fund raising activities involving the Youth to minimize the impact of the Church budget. Examples of these activities include the annual Youth Summer mission trip, smaller mission activities throughout the year, various retreats in a Christian environment.

The Small Miracles Preschool board Meets monthly on the third Monday of each month.

The Administrative Council provides the planning and implementation of the program ministries of the church such as Christian education, missions,evangelism and worship. It also provides for the oversight for the administration of the church by the trustees, finance committee, staff-parish committee and finance committee. The Administrative Council meets roughly every other month to review and discuss ministries of thechurch and the activities of the administrative committees. They also meet several times a year for team building, planning, goal settingand visioning. Ministry ideas and needs are discussed during meetings. At times, special committees, such as a building committee, are formed to implement special programs. Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of every other month at 7:00 p.m. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged.
