Education and Family Ministries

Education and Family Ministries supports the church through activities and events for the entire congregation that promote fellowship and togetherness of families.  We also work closely with our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Deonne Senese, to coordinate activities for Sunday School.  
 
These events include: Easter Egg Hunt, Lenten Event, Vacation Bible School, Harvest Celebration, Advent Event, and Christmas Pageant.

Valentine’s Date Night Out

Tuesday, February 14th between 6:00pm and 9:00pm

We are trying something new. We will provide childcare for you here at the Church, by our reliable team of teenage sitters. We will take care of your children ages 2-10 years old in the Yellow Room, while you take the night off or go out with a special someone for Valentine’s Day for $10 per child/$20 maximum per family. Please sign up in the church narthex or contact Deonne Senese if you are interested by Sunday, February 12th. If you are attending a meeting that evening, you will not be charged for childcare.

 

Lenten Brunch

Join us Sunday, February 26th, 2012 after second service for our annual Lenten Brunch! We will provide breakfast casseroles and ask that you sign-up in the narthex to bring a side dish to share. All are welcome!

 

Mandatory Safe Sanctuaries Training

On Sunday, March 11th, 2012 we will hold a mandatory Safe Sanctuaries Training for all volunteers and staff that serve as Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, and babysitters. As a Safe Sanctuaries congregation, all those who work with and volunteer with youth and children are required to attend.

The training will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with a light lunch being served. Please contact Deonne Senese or call the church office to sign-up for the training by March 7th.

 

Easter Egg Hunt

Join us Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at 10am rain or shine for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Please bring a bag or basket to collect your eggs. Juice, milk, and donuts will be served. Bring the whole family and invite your friends -- all are welcome!
