Gospel of Mark Storytelling
Gospel of Mark storytelling is coming to our church! Experience the action-packed Gospel of Mark brought to life as Biblical storytellers from the Chicago-area Prairie Wind Guild, including our own Richard Farnsworth and Deacon Beth tell it by heart. Mark is about the length of a feature film. Admission is free but a collection will be taken to defray expenses and continue the work of the guild, which is to “encourage everyone to learn and tell Biblical stories.” Our presentation is March 18th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, about the length of a family movie. It’s a great opportunity to invite a friend!

How do you connect with God?
Worship is a time for connecting with God and one another. Some of us do that best through music, others through listening to the pastor, movement, or through visuals. Being part of worship is being connected.
Woodridge United Methodist Church offers adult choir, children’s choir, dancers, acolytes (worship helpers), handbell choir, and worship band – if you play or sing, just join in! Worship also involves folks who make videos and run the technology, and who learn and tell Scripture by heart. And we are passionate about Holy Communion; there’s even a class that helps us connect more deeply through the sacrament.
