Believe Because of the Works

1 Peter 2:2-3, 9-10 / John 14:1-14
This Sunday, we’ll reflect on how easy it is to lose sight of God and create “idols” shaped by our own desires—just as the Israelites did in the wilderness. Even today, we can be tempted to seek comfort, control, and quick answers rather than trusting the living God.
Through Jesus’ words, we’ll explore what it means to have a heart that truly follows God—not driven by selfish gain, but shaped by compassion for a hurting world. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to believe, but to live out our faith through love and action. Come and discover how God invites us to move beyond self-centered faith into a life of deeper trust, compassion, and Spirit-led purpose.
Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:00 am in person or on our Woodridge UMC YouTube Channel!
