By the Water and the Spirit part 2: Called to Care
Well here we are in the month of August taking a look at baptism, under the theme of "BY WATER AND THE SPIRIT". Last week we were reminded that through baptism, we are "Marked for Life". No matter when our baptism took place -- as a baby or older -- we are a part of God's family with the tattoo of "beloved" written on our lives.
This week, we will tale a look at baptism as a way of life. We are "Called to Care" as a way to live out the commitments of being baptized. Yes, I know..... we already have plenty to do in life and there's no time for additional responsibilities. But let's make sure we are following the right direction in living up to our baptismal vows.
