Sins Are Forgiven

04.25.25 | by Rev Dave Yim

Jesus appeared to his disciples, who were filled with fear and anxiety after his death on the cross. His resurrected body still bore the scars from the crucifixion – now completely healed – on his hands and side. These scars served as proof of his identity, especially for Thomas. (John 20:19-31) This moment reminds us of our human tendency to rely on what we can see with our eyes. Yet, true faith comes from what we hear.

As Apostle Paul writes, “So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)
The resurrected Jesus gave his disciples two important instructions – guidance for how we are to live as people of the resurrection. These are not just words for the disciples long ago, but a call and a lesson for us today. Come and explore these powerful messages with us this Sunday. All are welcome!"
