By the Water and the Spirit part 3: The Equity of the Water

08.18.23 | by Rev Danita Anderson

August is almost over and webare almostbdone taking a look at baptism, under the theme of "BY WATER AND THE SPIRIT".  The first week we were reminded that through baptism, we are "Marked for Life".  No matter when our baptism took place -- as a baby or older -- we are a part of God's family with the tattoo of "beloved" written on our lives.

Then last week, we will took a look at baptism as a way of life.  We are "Called to Care" as a way to live out the commitments of being baptized.  We want to make sure we are following the right direction in living up to our baptismal vows.

This week we will take a look at  "THE EQUITY OF THE WATER".  Life seems to be so unfair and we get daily reminders that we live in a world of "haves" and "have nots". But there is something about our lives as baptized believers that reminds us of our authentic status in God's eyesight.

Join us on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. as we examine "THE EQUITY OF THE WATER".  If you aren't able to be with us in person, join us by way of our YouTube channel.   See you then!
