Discovering Gravity
Proverbs 3:13-14 & Matthew 19:16-24,
This Sunday we’ll talk about the “force of financial gravity” — that invisible pull in our lives toward possessions, wants, and self-interest. Like the rich young man in the Bible, we often feel the tension between following Jesus and holding on to what we have.
But Jesus offers a greater power — freedom, generosity, and life in God’s kingdom. Together we’ll discover how Christ can help us break free from the pull of the kingdom of self and live with open hands, open hearts, and open lives.
