Still Unknown God?

05.08.26 | by Rev Dave Yim

 Acts 17:22-31 / John 14:15-21

How do we find a God who feels far away? This Sunday, we explore the journey from an “unknown God” to a deeply personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. Drawing from the Apostle Paul’s experience on Mars Hill in Athens, we discover that God isn’t a distant image made of stone or silver, but the very source of our life—the one in whom we “live, move, and exist.”
What is God asking us to do today? Perhaps the Holy Spirit is speaking through the person sitting right next to you. Let us open our hearts to the Spirit’s leading and find God in the simple, sacred acts of taking care of one another and listening very carefully to each other. Join us as we learn to walk humbly, respecting every person as a “Spirit-holder.”

Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:00 am in person or on our Woodridge UMC YouTube Channel!
