Who Am I and Who I Am
Several years ago Nick Jonas had a song entitle "Who I Am". The video for the song showed many different people with different circumstances.. how they were viewed and then their reality. It was his effort to enhance the awareness of his struggle with diabetes and national awareness of the disease. But this video showed that at first glance, we are viewed in one light by others when, in fact our reality may be totally different than what shows on the outside.
This week we will take a look at "WHO I AM AND WHO AM I". Moses faced these very questions as he looked at the bush burning and listened to God call him into a life of service with no idea of where to go or who he was talking to. He didn't even have a clue of what name to give when asked "who sent you".
We, too, struggle with those same kinds of questions on a regular basis.... who I am, and who am I to others. What roles, what responsibilities, whose instructions, whose definition of who I am are questions we live with all the time. Let's take a look and see if we can get some answers on Sunday.
