Matthew 14:13-21
When Jesus sought a quiet place to grieve the tragic loss of his friend John the Baptist, the crowds followed him anyway. Jesus moved with deep compassion toward their physical and emotional pain. When the hour grew late and resources seemed scarce, Jesus turned to his disciples with an unexpected invitation: “You give them something to eat.”

Facing a crowd of over 10,000 hungry people, Jesus didn't send them away empty-handed—he invited his followers to participate in a miracle of community and care.
