For those of you who may be keeping track, today marks the fourth Sunday in the season of Lent.  The 40 days before Easter (not including Sundays) are days of deep reflection and introspection. It is a journey that looks deep into the personal and penitential places of life, our most vulnerable selves.  A time of searching and longing to grow in our relationship with God.

Over the weeks we have looked at the story of creation and the time spent in the Garden of Eden and reflected on God's call to us.  We have been reminded that nothing can separate us from God.  And this week we are reminded of just how much God truly loves us and how we show that love to others.  

The season of Lent can seem dark and dismal and lonely, but this week's passages remind us that we are still "EXPERIENCING THE WITH-NESS OF GOD".  Throughout these 40 days and many more days to come God is with us!  Let's find ways to celebrate that this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in person or on YouTube.
