Well, here we are again.  We survived the new "shelter-in-place" Easter by choosing to keep family and others safe.  Believe me.....we've never done it this way before, but we survived.  The blessings of the day were the celebration of the Resurrection and family.

This Sunday, instead of it being the usual "Associate Pastor Has to Preach About Doubting Thomas" Day, we are going in a slightly different direction.  Pastor Dave will preach a little later and he will choose where that goes.  But, I would like us to think about the options that the disciples and followers of Jesus must have had at this point.  And which ones would be best.  What impact did the Resurrection have on their lives and their choices moving forward?

As for us, what choices do we make after having experienced the Resurrection?  Where do we go?  What do we say?  How do we respond?  We will take a look at "EXPLORING OUR OPTIONS". 

Last week we read the final portions of the Gospel according to Mark.  This week we open up the journey through the Acts of the Apostles.  Join us as we explore the early church in the days following the Resurrection and walk in their footsteps in 2020.  Tune into our YouTube channel (Woodridge UMC) at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
