No Us and Them

    Exodus 1:8-11, Romans 12:1-8, Matthew 16:15-16
When we look at our world—both throughout history and today—it is easy to see how quickly human fear, anxiety, and division create boundaries of "us" versus "them." But as followers of Christ, we are called to a different way of living. Drawing from Exodus, Romans, and the Gospel of Matthew, we will reflect on Apostle Paul’s reminder that we are all distinct parts of one body in Christ. There is no hierarchy, superiority, or exclusion in this one body—only mutual connection, compassion, and love.
Join us this Sunday in person or on livestream on our WoodridgeUMC YouTube Channel as we explore what it truly means to lay down our fears, embrace the stranger, and live as one family under God’s grace!
