Power Is Made Perfect in Weakness

The humble king, Jesus, rode into the powerful city of Jerusalem not on a horse, but on a young and small donkey. He didn’t sit on a royal throne in the temple—instead, he sat with the people. He taught them, healed them, and spent time with them every day in the temple. We should remember that Jesus became the Messiah by humbling himself before God and taking up the cross. He served his disciples and many others with compassion and love.
"Hosanna" literally means “Save us!” Two thousand years ago today, a crowd shouted "Hosanna" to Jesus. And indeed, he saved many—not just through miracles, but by opening the holy place to all and being present with them. By setting this example, Jesus calls us to open our church—not just the building, but our hearts and minds—to others, so that we can grow in holiness together, both personally and as a community. Let us celebrate Palm Sunday with joy, remembering what Jesus taught us through his actions on this sacred day.
