Searching for Change

First of all let me express my deepest thanks to the Reverend Chris Suerdieck for the awesome artwork we are using this week in our presentation.  Reverend Chris is a retired United Methodist clergywoman and we thank God for her gift.

This year, our Pentecost celebration will be a little different than before.  We have started to gather back gradually and certainly not with the same level of excitement and enthusiasm as the first Pentecost but still in wonder and amazement.  We see the flames representing the Holy Spirit but somehow our light has grown a little dim and we can hardly see the sparks.  These past 14 months have really tried to extinguish our flame.

So, we gather this week, just 50 short days after Easter, "Searching for Change"  looking for that which can re-ignite our flames.  That early gathering of peoples from a multitude of experiences, cultures and circumstances gives us a glimpse of what could be possible.  Can we see it in 2021?!  Can we hear it today?  Can we feel it once again?!  Let's take a chance and see what happens as we gather on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in person or on YouTube.  All are always welcome!
