The Apostle of Hope

    Luke 8:1-3
This Sunday’s message begins with the truth that the story of Jesus Christ does not end at the cross or the tomb, but on the third day—Resurrection Day—when hope breaks through the darkness of death. Focusing on Mary Magdalene, the first witness of the risen Christ, we are reminded that resurrection is deeply personal: Jesus calls us by name and meets us in our anxiety, grief, and past struggles. As Mary’s life was transformed through her encounter with the risen Lord, we too are invited to trust that Christ’s presence brings healing, freedom, and a new identity. The resurrection assures us that no darkness has the final word, because we are living in the reality of the third day—where hope continues to rise.
