The Divine Purpose of Human Beings

Genesis 1:26-31a, Matthew 28:16-20
This Sunday, we are invited to remember who we are and why God created us. In Genesis 1, we hear the beautiful truth that each one of us is made in the image of God—created not just good, but very good. That means every person carries sacred worth and dignity, and we are called to honor that in one another.
In Matthew 28, Jesus sends us out with purpose—to make disciples and to share God’s love with the world. We do not go alone; Christ promises to be with us. As we go, we are invited to become people through whom others can experience God’s presence—especially by caring for those in need and extending compassion to all.
Come and explore this calling with us. Let us grow together as people who reflect God’s image and share God’s goodness in our everyday lives.
